WATER: A MATTER OF SURVIVAL

Water… nature precious resource, essential to our existence. It is the most important element on Earth. It is Lifeblood of growing demand. It is the most important natural resource for it´s ecological, economic, political, and social implications. Water… matter of survival!

When rivers form rapids and tumble over beautiful waterfalls, a natural decontamination process occurs, since there is an oxygen injection process into the water.

The demographic population growth, industrial development and the progressive tendency of humans to alter their environment are increasingly polluting water, exceeding by far the capacity of nature to decontaminate it.

For every cubic meter of contaminated water discharged into an aquifer or body of water, an average of 10 cubic meters of water becomes unhealthy for human consumption.

In the last 50 years the water available in Mexico has fallen by 50%. This growing water crisis is creating serious social conflicts that lead us to understand the true value of water.

The present generation has a moral responsibility to safeguard water as a natural capital for future generations, reducing pollution and helping nature, using wastewater treatment plants.
